MoF onwards are mindblowingly cataclysmically bad, for the most part.

Be careful when buying keys off sites like G2A, they're often bought with stolen credit cards and may be invalidated/deactivated after purchase. In the worst case the account you redeem those keys on could be banned. (I don't think Valve is very hard on this, but I know for example Nintendo insta-bans the moment they get confirmation your key was bought using a stolen credit card.)

have been using g2a for many years and I only got fucked once (key sent was already activated) but I got a new one from the for free so it worked out

Don't try it for Switch games, at least. I've seen multiple stories of people getting their Nintendo accounts banned for using G2A keys.
